Liquid Nitrogen clinics occur every Wednesday afternoon, 1:00pm-3:00pm. The clinic is open to all patients of Dr. MacKinnon, as well as to the public over the age of 10.

This clinic is intended for skin issues that may benefit from cryotherapy (liquid nitrogen treatment) ONLY.  

It is NOT for skin biopsies, excisions, or referrals (including acne).

Liquid Nitrogen Clinic FAQ

There is a charge to the patient for some liquid nitrogen clinic services. Please note:

• Plantar warts are covered by the province for 3 visits only within a full year. There is a $20 charge per visit thereafter.
• A $20 charge per visit will apply for:
  • Common warts (any wart not on the foot or the genital/anal areas)
  • Skin tags
  • Any other benign skin lesion

There is no charge for the following:

• Any pre-cancerous and cancerous lesions
• Genital and anal warts
• Molluscum contagiosum 

We are not set up to receive debit/credit card payments. We accept either cash or cheque.

Please dress accordingly and be prepared to expose the area you would like to have treated.
